Paul J. Geissinger
Paul J. Geissinger won the 2005 North American Laptop Battle Championship held in Seattle, WA. He composes concert music for traditional instruments as well as electronics, often using video as another form of expression. He is currently working on a commission from Chamber Music Now to premiere in May 2007 for cello, electronics and visuals. Paul also writes beat-driven electronic music under the moniker, Starkey. As Starkey, Paul has music out on Werk Discs (UK), Ruff/Peace-off (France), Slit Jockey (US), and has releases planned for 2007 from LoDubs (US), Terminal Dusk (US), Trouble & Bass (US) and NonClassical (UK). Paul lives in Philadelphia and performs regularly around the city.
